Homestead & Acreage Fence

Rail Fence

Our standard rail fence is built using the following:

- 7 foot long, 5-6" diameter, pressure treated, doweled posts spaced 7 feet, 6 inches apart (centre to centre)

- We use 16ft long, 3.25" diameter pressure treated rails

- Fastened with U2 Construction Grade Screws

- Rails are either staggered (as pictured) or flush

- We can do 2, all the way up to 6 horizontal rails based on your preference.

- Commonly used for horses

Plank Fence

Our standard plank fence is built using the following:

- 7 foot long, 5.25" diameter, pressure treated, doweled posts spaced 7 feet, 6 inches apart (centre to centre)

- We use 16ft long, 2" x 6" (and up) presssure treated, rough, or smooth planks

- Fastened with U2 Construction Grade Screws

- We can do 2, all the way up to 6 horizontal planks based on your preference.

- Custom painting also available upon request

- Commonly used to enhance property

Barbed Wire Fence

Our standard barbed wire fence is built using the following:

- 4 strands Canadian Standard galvanized 4-point barbed wire, 12.5 gauge
- 7ft long x 4.25 inch pressure treated line posts spaced approximately 12' apart
- 8 foot long x 5.25 inch diameter pressure treated corner posts
- 4 inch x 4 inch x 10 foot long pressure treated braces
- double strand wrapped barbless galvanized bracing wire on brace assemblies
- Fastened with 1 3/4 inch x 9 gauge galvanized barbed staples

- 3 to 6 strands of horizontal barbed wire available

Paige Wire Fence

Our standard 4ft high paige wire is built using the following:

- 10 horizontal wires, 47 inches tall, 6 inch vertical spacing (10-47-6), hinge lock paige wire mesh, 12.5 gauge
- 7 foot long x 4.25 inch diameter pressure treated line posts spaced approximately 12' apart
- 8 foot long x 5.25 inch diameter pressure treated corner posts

- 4 inch x 4 inch x 10 foot long pressure treated braces

- Double strand wrapped barbless galvanized bracing wire on brace assemblies

- Fastened with 1 3/4 inch x 9 gauge galvanized barbed staples

- Along with 10-47-6, paige wire is available in a variety of spacings and heights such as:

13-48-6 (4ft tall)

11-55-6 (4.5 ft tall)

10-60-12 (5 ft tall)

20-96-6 (8ft tall game fence)
